Acai Facial

I love to give myself an acai facial several times a week - time permitting!! It is easy and it makes my skin feel great!

What I use is a product that is a little packet of acai pulp and it is not even a facial product. It is intended as an on-the-go whole food supplement but it works great on your skin. I have found that by putting a small amount of this on my face it makes a great facial!!

This is me with an acai facial on my face

Here's what I do:

I tear off the top of the pulp packet and apply it evenly to my entire face and neck. I put it all the way right up to my eyes because it does not make my eyes burn or anything.

I gently massage it into my face and neck. The little seeds act as an exfoliant - removing dead skin and allowing healthy skin to shine through.

Then, I leave it on for about 20 minutes or so while I go about my morning duties.

It doesn't look like you have a mask on - your face just looks dirty! Beware, you might scare your kids or husband!!

Then I wash it off with a clean wash cloth and my face feels clean and fresh!

The cool thing is that the product contains so many antioxidants! You are putting these directly onto your skin so they can penetrate easily right into your skin. You're getting 100 percent of the antioxidants directly on your face and not a small percentage like you would get in a cream or facial product.

One of these acai pulp packets only costs about $3.00 and it lasts me several weeks. I just fold over the top and put a clip on it to keep it fresh.
