Acai Lotion

One of the best things for your skin is this simple acai lotion that you can make yourself at home. This lotion is non-toxic and has no cancer causing ingredients.

You may have heard that you should never put anything on your skin that you could not eat. It's true! Your skin is your body's biggest organ. Yes - skin is an organ. Anything that goes on your skin can be absorbed into your body. Most all body lotions have known cancer causing ingredients such as: propylene glycol, parabens, or sodium laurel sulfate. These are just three of the most common but there are hundreds. They won't kill you right away but who wants a slow painful death? Just do the research and take precautions! Use something safe to moisturize your skin.

Something so safe you can eat it!

Here's the secret recipe:

1 cup Olive Oil (organic, extra virgin, expellar or cold pressed)

1 cup Coconut Oil (organic, extra virgin, unrefined, cold pressed)

1 Acai blend gel pack

Coconut oil becomes liquid at 76 degrees so you may need to warm it slightly to get a liquid so it will mix with the other ingredients. You can do this by either placing a jar in a sunny window or you can warm water in a pan and place the jar in it until the oil liquifies.

Combine and store in a wide mouthed jar. Keep refrigerated.

Apply liberally to your body daily and especially while skin is still moist after a shower or bath.
