Acai Smoothie
4 oz Acai Juice 1 Banana 1/2 cup Orange Juice (freshly squeezed is best) 1/2 to 1 cup Ice
Combine in blender. Pulse blender to break up ice and blend for an additional 15 to 30 seconds.
Benefits: You get all the nutrition and goodness of the acai berry.

Bananas provide 3 to 4 grams of fiber, 422 mg of potassium (low potassium is often associated with muscle cramps), and fructoogliosaccarides. Fructo-what??? You've probably heard of "good bacteria" and "live active cultures" found in yogurt. Well these good bacteria that live in your digestive system need food to eat too. Acai Bowl
1 pack Frozen Acai Pulp (available from Sambazon) 1 Banana 1/2 cup Apple Juice (juice your own for better health)
Toppings:
Granola Banana slices Honey (raw, organic, unfiltered if you want healthy honey)
Combine in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into bowl and top with sliced banana, granola and optional honey. Delicious and filling for a snack anytime or a healthy breakfast or lunch!

4 to 8 oz Acai Juice 2 Bananas 1/2 to 1 cup Frozen Mango Chunks 1/2 to 1 cup Frozen Papaya Chunks 1 Water or Milk

They contain a lot of potassium (323 mg), vitamin A and beta carotene, plus they have some vitamin C, vitamin K, calcuim, phosphorus, magnesium and folate as well as several other nutrients. They are a rich source of enzymes and one mango contains 3 1/2 grams of fiber. Papaya is one of the best sources of digestive enzymes. It contains papain, which is a proteolytic enzyme that helps to break down and digest protein and may have anti-inflammatory properties. A cup of cubed papaya has 360 mg of potassium, 34 mg of calcium, 2.5 grams of fiber, 87 mg of vitamin C, 53 mcg of folate, 1500 IU's of vitamin A, 386 mcg of beta-carotene, and 105 mcg of the eye protective carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin. Vitamin A and vitamin C are both essential for proper immune functioning.
